The material is where the character of a bag begins. We review the visible surface, hand feel, structure and finish of every piece. Depending on the design, this may include coated canvas, smooth or grained leather, woven construction and specialty finishes. Because every style is different, customers may request current real photos before shipment.

Stitching

Good construction should look considered from every angle. During inspection, we review stitch alignment, spacing, edge finishing and the high-stress areas around handles, corners and closures. Natural or handmade variations may occur, but obvious loose threads, open seams or uneven construction are flagged for review.

Detailing

Hardware, closures, lining, embossing and interior finishing all shape the overall experience of a bag. We check that visible components are secure, aligned and consistent with the product shown. Details can vary by style, so our team can provide additional close-up photos when requested.
